Some breeds suffer more
Indeed, your four-legged friend may also suffer from stress. A little stress or anxiety is not a bad thing. However, it becomes a problem when the behaviour becomes chronic and starts to dominate the lives of both you and your four-legged friend. Research has confirmed that certain dog breeds are more likely to suffer from stress and/or anxiety than others.
It is often overlooked, but simple daily activities and situations, such as (long) car journeys, guests visiting, young children, moving house, thunder and lightning, fireworks, being left alone, etc... can make some of our four-legged friends very upset and cause them a lot of stress and/or anxiety.
